I came here on a whim and it was delicious, great service and the food had so much flavor. The dishes were huge and affordable. We ordered the beef Sancocho, bandeja paisa and a arepa con queso. My only complain is I prefer the queso fresco on my arepa not regular mozzarella. The portions were big enough for two people. Beans were tasty and the soup tasted like my own homemade soup.
Always order the lemon chicken and chicharon And my husband gets the bandeja paisa we've been going here for years delicious!
On my way home after leaving white plains hospital with bronchitis I was looking for some real home cooked Spanish style food and I stumbled across this restaurant. I mainly went in for soup but took a look at their delicious menu and definitely didn't get a soup. I ordered their breaded chicken which came with rice salad and maduros. I asked if they could sub the salad for beans and they did. All I can say is the food was delicious and enough for possibly two people. The style of food is Columbian and it took me back to my childhood memories of eat traditional Columbian food. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the white plains area. It's on the corner and there is a ton of street parking "metered" but that is to be expected now. All in all the restaurant is decorated nicely they have about 4 big screen TVs and there is music playing. They have a nice selection in their bar and of course Columbian traditional drinks and candies for desserts. Overall I will definitely be coming back.
Really good and fresh food. One of the most pricey Colombian restaurants in white plains but I would say this one has the better table layout, friendlier staff and the food taste fresh here. They have food lunch specials and great empanadas.
I haven't been to Aire De Colombia in. Long time , but if you want authentic Colombian food , this is the place to be. The food is cooked well with a lot of flavors. The service is fast . During lunch time it was not crowded , the drinks are delicious and deserts are sweets. The seating area is average not alot of space but not too tight. The portion is just right for lunch.
